About Asecos

The company’s core competence includes the development and manufacturing of fire resistant safety storage cabinets according to the European Standard En 14470. All safety storage cabinets are “Made in Germany” and will be delivered all over the world.

Asecos develop products that offer the highest degree of protection and comfort in daily work. They are driven by their conviction to continually create innovative and intelligent based on this conviction. Right from the start asecos has set a new level of safety by introducing Type 90 technology for fire-resistant safety storage cabinets.

Asecos offers more than 3000 products for the storage, handling, transportation and ventilation of hazardous materials.

The primary goal of a safety storage cabinet is the minimisation of the fire risk when storing combustible liquids or compressed gases. In the event of a fire, the safety storage cabinets protect the substance stored within from contributing to the spread of the fire. A special fire-retardant construction makes this possible.

The quality and safety of Asecos products are recognised and certified by all leading institutes. Products manufactured in-house by Asecos are benchmarks for maximum safety and quality.

There are two cabinet type classes: 30 and 90. The respective type class indicates the period of time the cabinet protects the stored hazardous materials against fire.

The Asecos cabinet models are available in various sizes, with different doors and door arrest systems as well as innumerable equipment options. Furthermore, there are different cabinets for the storage of combustible liquids, compressed gas cylinders, acids and alkalis, non-combustible chemicals and lithium-ion batteries.

Asecos designed the world’s first Type 90 safety storage cabinet. Accordingly, as the worldwide market leader for safety storage cabinets according to EN 14470 part 1 and part 2, Asecos has been actively involved in standardisation bodies at both national and international levels. The innovations from Asecos are therefore true state-of-the-art developments.
